Eligibility
Orders paid through AutoShop are covered when the part does not arrive, arrives damaged, or is materially different from the listing (including wrong fitment).
Buyer protection
Your payment is held by AutoShop and only released to the seller after you confirm receipt or the inspection window ends without a dispute.
Seller obligations
Sellers must describe parts accurately, ship within the stated time with tracking, and respond to disputes with evidence within 48 hours.
Inspection period
After delivery you have 3 days (set by the platform) to inspect the part and either confirm receipt or open a dispute.
Dispute process
Open a dispute from the order page and describe the problem. The seller responds with their evidence. AutoShop reviews both sides and may ask for more information before deciding.
Evidence requirements
Clear photos of the part, packaging and labels, the part number, and — for fitment problems — a photo of the original part or your vehicle's details.
Refund
A full refund is issued to the original payment method when the claim is upheld and the part is returned if requested.
Partial refund
Where the part is usable but not fully as described, AutoShop may award a partial refund and release the rest to the seller.
Seller payout
If the dispute is resolved in the seller's favour, the held amount minus commission is released to the seller.
Cancellation
Buyers may cancel before the seller dispatches the order for a full refund. After dispatch, use the dispute process.
Resolution timeline
Most disputes are resolved within 5 business days of both sides submitting evidence. Refunds reach your account within 3–7 business days depending on the payment method.
